SA: Holiday road toll stands at three

ADELAIDE, April 25 AAP - South Australia's roll toll for the Easter-Anzac holiday period
stood at three today.

The most recent death was that of a 13 year-old boy at Coober Pedy, in the state's
north, on Sunday, who was a passenger in a car that rolled on one of the town's roads.

Following the accident, a 15 year-old Ceduna youth was reported for causing death by
dangerous driving, driving under the influence of alcohol, exceeding the prescribed concentration
of alcohol and driving unlicensed.

In a separate incident, a 57 year-old man from Balhannah died when his car hit a tree
in the Adelaide Hills town on Saturday.

The first fatality for the holiday period was that of a 16 year-old Barossa Valley
girl, who died when the car in which she was a passenger hit a power pole in the northern
Adelaide suburb of Burton on Friday.

In relation to that incident, a 17 year-old Salisbury North youth has been charged
with causing death by dangerous driving.

Six people died on SA's roads over the Easter period last year.
