FED:Stop guessing about report, panel says
CANBERRA, Dec 20 AAP - The panel for constitutional recognition of Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islanders wants speculation on what it might recommend to cease.
Panel co-chairs Patrick Dodson and Mark Leidler said recent media speculation about
what the group's final report might say was premature.
They wanted all Australians to wait until the final report is delivered in January
and then approach it with open minds.
The pair said the panel would welcome wide-ranging and informed debate about constitutional
recognition once the report was publicly released.
